2cofly monitors key data using drones
Typhoon Mawar was a devastating situation for the people of Guam. Many suffered damaged homes, furnitures destroyed, left without power and water for weeks, and many other challenges. But this period also pulled people together and lots of assistance were offered.
EPA Region IX was deployed to Guam to assist in many things, and one of the things they were tasked to do was manage and monitor the numerous dump sites they had for people to throw away their damaged goods, electronics and furniture.
2cofly was contracted to monitor these sites from above using different sensors to provide different data. Few times per week, 2cofly deployed to each site capturing the following:
aerial photos (eyes from above)
orthomosaic map (wholistic view of the site)
360 photo
thermal photos (spot dangerous temperature hotspots)
2cofly is a full service drone service provider in Guam and Micronesia. Our company has two primary focus areas: construction and education.
