2cofly completed its first drone mission in the beautiful island of Yap.
We've scanned roughly 26 acres utilizing both LiDAR and Photogrammetry methods. We outputted an Orthomosaic Map, 1 foot contours, aerial site photos and Digital Elevation Model.
This was completed within 7 business days, only taking about 4 days on the field. Absolute accuracy was necessary for this project, so the survey crew from TG Engineers captured ground control for us that we used to geo-reference our data to.
As this site was heavily vegetated, conducting this survey with just the traditional method would have taken several weeks, or even months to complete.
